Casey Sebastiano is a multimedia journalist with print and digital experience currently in Lexington, Ky. Growing up in northern New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania, she has a passion for finding the stories that impact every day people in environments where no one tends to slow down enough to notice.

A May 2026 senior studying journalism at the University of Kentucky, Casey’s work has been featured in publications such as Metro Philadelphia, the Oldham Era and The Center Square. She is currently an editor and co-founder of The Watchdog, a news publication based in Lexington founded and led by students. She also held numerous editorial positions at her university’s independent student news publication, the Kentucky Kernel, over three years.
